What you get

One book, ready everywhere you need it.

Once the pages are made, here's what's actually included — no separate app to learn.

  • 01Read it together online
An immersive full-screen reader works on any phone, tablet, or laptop, and stays ready to reread whenever the moment comes back around.
  • 02Download a PDF
A standard PDF is included free once the book is finished. A print-ready, high-resolution version is a small add-on if you want a printed copy.
  • 03Keep editing for free
Rewrite a sentence, resize text, crop an image, or reorder pages any time, at no extra cost. Every earlier version stays recoverable.
  • 04Add a narrated read-along
Turn the finished book into an audio read-along with a recorded voice, for a small add-on per book.
  • 05Turn a page into a short video
Carry the same pages and character into our companion animation tool to make a narrated video, without starting the artwork over.
Three complete cases

See the problem, then read the whole book.

Each case shows the real concern, the character direction, a full reading sample, and exactly what gets delivered.

Before you commit to anything

The same child, page after page.

Once you approve Nora's ponytails, cardigan, and rabbit on the free preview, they stay locked for the rest of the book — so page 7 still shows the same child you saw on page 3, instead of a slightly different child on every page.

Nothing here is a guess — this is what a finished book actually adds up to once you're ready to buy pages.

Questions parents ask first
Is this therapy, medical advice, or a clinical social story tool?

No. Sprokle makes parent-guided rehearsal books, not a clinical service. It borrows what works from a good social story — one real situation, plain sequencing, and a consistent character — but it doesn't diagnose a child or replace advice from a qualified professional.

Do I need to upload my child's photo?

No. You can describe your child in words and the artwork stays consistent from that description. A reference photo is optional and stays private to your account either way.

What do I actually get for free?

The complete story outline, a cover image, and one inside page — watermarked, no card required. You only pay once you've seen the direction and want the rest of the pages made.

How much does a finished book cost?

A standard 12-page book — the pages, cover, and character together — runs about $2.10 to $2.80, depending on the pack you buy. The pricing page breaks down the exact amount for every pack.

Can I make a personalized story for my child's first day of school?

Yes. Tell us the exact part that feels uncertain — the doorway, saying goodbye, a noisy classroom — and the preview turns it into a short, specific book your child can read before that morning arrives.

Can I create a children's story about dentist anxiety, or is school the only option?

School is one of several situations Sprokle covers. Families also use it for a dentist visit, sleeping alone, a new sibling, moving house, big feelings, and other real next steps — see the full list on the situations page.

Can I download the finished book as a custom picture book PDF?

Yes. A standard PDF is included once the pages are made, at no added cost. A print-ready, high-resolution version is available for a small add-on if you want to print it.

What if I want to change something after the book is made?

Rewriting a sentence, resizing text, cropping an image, or reordering pages is free at any time. Redrawing a page or trying a new version costs about $0.20 and keeps the earlier version too.

Give your child a way to see it coming.

A rehearsal book won't guarantee how your child responds — but it can turn one unknown morning into something they've already walked through once.
