A finished book costs about the price of a coffee.

Your first browser preview shows the story, cover, and one inside page free. When you're ready, buy a pack — a complete 12-page book generated from scratch works out to roughly $2.10–$2.80, depending on the pack you choose.

What costs nothing

  • One browser preview: your child's full story outline, a cover, and one inside page — watermarked, no card needed.
  • Editing after the book exists: rewriting any sentence, resizing text, cropping, reordering pages, and restoring an earlier version.
  • Reading and delivery: the full-screen reader and the standard PDF download.

Small add-ons, priced per use

  • Redrawing one page, changing an expression, or generating a fresh version of an image: about $0.20 each. The earlier version is kept.
  • A newly generated print-ready, high-resolution image: up to about $0.40 at the Starter rate. This includes the new image and its high-resolution delivery.
  • A recorded voice reading the book aloud (up to five minutes): about $0.40 per book.

If something fails, you don't pay. When a page or an image doesn't finish, the amount goes straight back on your balance, automatically.

The fine print: how credits work behind these prices

Packs are sold as credits at checkout, and each generated image costs one credit. A standard 12-page book generated from scratch uses 14 credits: 12 illustrated pages, one cover, and one character sheet. In the first free-preview flow, the cover and first inside page are already made, so the continuation screen charges only for the 11 remaining content pages. The dollar figures above are credit counts multiplied by each pack's price per credit.
